Young Interpreters

Mr Williams presented ten students with a well-deserved Young Interpreter Award this week. The students spent a total of 4 hours following a comprehensive training scheme for Young Interpreters in the second half of last term. All the training was completed in the students’ own free time, and their dedication was faultless. Their skills will be put to good use by welcoming new students to the school and helping them to settle in, accessing their learning fully. This group of students speak an incredible fifteen additional languages between them, and two of the Young Interpreters can operate in 4+ languages! There are already students who have expressed a desire to join a second training group, so watch this space for more news!
