Devon Swimming Success

We are extremely proud of all the students who qualified to enter the annual Devon Swimming Championships in Plymouth.

 

The Paignton Academy Devon Swimmers pictured are Eva & Mia from Brixham Swimming Club and Gethin, Harley, Oliver, Max, Heidi and Scarlett from Paignton Swimming Club.

 

They all have progressed into various finals in a very competitive field coming up against National and International swimmers from across all the clubs in Devon.

 

We would specifically like to congratulate Mia for swimming PBs in every race, Eva on a silver medal in the 100M Backstroke, Oliver and Heidi for silver in the 200m Butterfly, Harley for his Silver medal in the Breaststroke and Max who came away with an incredibly impressive 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.

 

All these students can be proud to be called the second fastest across the whole of Devon.

 

Impressively, Eva, Heidi, Scarlett, Max, Oliver & Harley have all now reached a qualification time for the South West Regional Championships.

 

Well done to all the students that took part in the Championships, from all of us at Paignton Academy!
