Year 10 GCSE Design and Technology students have been developing their CAD skills to create prototypes using the brand new laser cutter.
They had to work quickly to research and design a phone stand that could be batch produced in 3mm laser plywood in one lesson!
Going forward, they will be using the laser cutter to create their own electronic products in an extended project.
Any Key Stage 3 students interested in learning how to create their own products on the laser cutter are encouraged to join the D&T club on a Wednesday lunchtime.
