Worden wonder try

The Year 9 rugby team travelled to Ivybridge in what was the Academy’s first rugby game on a 4G rugby specific astro turf.  With a large squad in Year 9 it was fantastic to have newcomers Josh Monk, Tom Howard and George Langford playing in the team for their first game.  The team worked hard throughout the whole game with particularly impressive performances from Luke Berlyn and Tyler Bailey.  However, the highlight of the game came from fly-half, Jack Worden, who threw a dummy and cut through the entire Ivybridge back-line to accelerate past would-be tacklers and score a brilliant solo effort under the posts.
