World Book Day 2026 at Paignton Academy

We celebrated World Book Day 2026 at Paignton Academy — and what an amazing day it was!

Our students loved seeing all their teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters, and the staff put in an incredible effort with their creative and colourful costumes! 

Over in the library, our fantastic library team hosted a range of fun activities, including their fairy‑tale‑themed mystery, "The Disappearance of Dave the Troll"

Students had a brilliant time solving clues and taking part during break and lunch — lots of excitement, detective work, and laughter all around!

A huge thank‑you to our wonderful staff and library team for making this day so engaging and memorable. Let’s keep the love of reading alive all year round!
