Year 7s Reach Rounders Semi Final

Eleven Year 7 pupils went to Stover School for a Rounders Tournament. PCSA were in a tough pool, playing Stover, South Dartmoor and St. Cuthbert Mayne. The girls played exceptionally well and came away with three wins, finishing top of their pool.

PCSA 8.5 – 3.5 South Dartmoor
PCSA 7 – 6 St. Cuthbert Mayne
PCSA 8.5 – 4.5 Stover

The team then moved on to the quarter finals where they played Newton Abbot College. It was a very close game as they batted first so had to field well. The girls stepped up with some great individual rounders and won 5.5 – 4.

PCSA then met Churston in the semi-final. Churston fielded very well which meant we were unable to score many rounders, eventually losing 3.5 – 6. The girls showed excellent sportsmanship and it was commented upon how well the girls played.
