With exams over and Summer fast approaching, the final event of the Year 11 calendar saw the PCSA Year 11 Prom take place at the wonderful Lupton House – a Grade II* listed building set in beautiful parkland. The sun was shining, the outfits sparkled and students dressed to impress.
Over 130 students attended the event and were chauffeured in stylish Bentleys, Rolls Royce, Jaguars and brand new tractors. One student even rode in on her horse in her prom dress!
Students and staff attended the event to celebrate in style, say their goodbyes and capture the moment in the photo booth. They enjoyed a disco, a fun casino (which was run by Mr Smith, our Acting Headteacher), Clayzar (laser clay pigeon shooting) and a hog roast with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, whilst a slideshow played throughout the evening showing the students’ life throughout their time at the Academy.
There was also a presentation of awards for:
Prom Queen – Ashley Harris
Prom King – Jack Redman
Best Dressed Female – Bethany Thompson
Best Dressed Male – Sam McCready
Jester – Lewis Harris.
A great night was had by all – well done everyone for being such great ambassadors for the Academy and the very best of luck in all that you do!
