Year 11 Geographers Visit Dawlish Warren

Year 11 visited Dawlish Warren to carry out a number of fieldwork activities.

The pupils worked in small groups to measure the beach for evidence of longshore drift, studied the sea defences, carried out a questionnaire, and saw the effects of many years worth of erosion on Langstone Rock.

All this hard work was rewarded with some cheesy chips and ice cream in the sunshine before heading back to the Academy!  Well done for a great day Year 11!
