Year 10 Geography Students Create Model of Working Drainage Basin

The task was to create a piece of work which summarised water in the landscape.  It was a voluntary home learning project over the Easter holidays.  Joe Ruocco and Jess Bowkett created the working model of a drainage basin, pictured, which is over 1m sq!  Joe constructed and created the electronics, whilst Jess brought it to life with acrylic paints and accurate geographical feature labels.  Mrs Smerdon, their Geography teacher, was extremely proud of the students and their final outcome.
