Paignton Academy Musical 2023 ‘ PETER PAN JR’

The Faculty of Creative Arts would like to invite you to this year’s Academy musical ‘Peter Pan  Jr , which will take place between 22nd and 24th March   in the Arena at the Borough Road site.    

Based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favourites of all time. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years. 

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travellers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce brave girls, a band of bungling pirates and the villainous Captain Hook.

This highly ambitious venture involves a cast of actors, singers and dancers supported by a technical crew, ranging from Year 7 to Year 11 and we are asking for lots of support from parents, pupils, governors, friends of the Academy and local primary schools within the community. 

The students and staff have been working hard on the production since September and we hope you’ll be able to join us for the performances .
