Key Stage 3 and 4 students shine in bag packing bonanza

In February, a group of students from Years 7 and 10 gave up an afternoon over the weekend to raise money for their up and coming football tour to Arnhem, Holland.

The students took on bag packing at Morrisons, where their hard work was commended by staff and customers alike, who commented on their manners and polite natures.  Feedback from staff included “what a polite and helpful set of students” and “they have been a pleasure to have on board!”, while members of the public claimed that the students were “a credit to the Academy” and “that it was really nice to be able to praise a group of young people so highly”.

Huge thanks must be given to all of the staff at the Paignton Morrisons store, who were extremely helpful and accommodating of our young people, helping to make the activity such a massive success.  Thanks also to Mr Power, Mr Young and Mr Smith for giving up their Sundays to support the students.

Great work from all involved!
