Convincing First Round Win for Year 10 Footballers

On Thursday 19th September, the Year 10 Boys Football team made the long trip to Plymouth to take on Eggbuckland Community College.

It was a slow start from the team who found themselves a goal behind within the first ten minutes. This, however, seemed to inject life into the side who replied almost straight away with a converted penalty from Corey Madge.

Paignton took control of the game and took a well-deserved lead through a bullet header by Alfie Lloyds. Paignton increased their dominance and goal tally through Harry Atkinson twice, with a superb individual effort from Josh Warren and Harvey Veysey.

Congratulations to the team who showed terrific character, especially Bailey Dixon who had a fantastic debut game in goal.
