Why study Interactive Media?

This is a brand new qualification that is both relevant and current with what the IT sector is offering for employment, providing pupils with skills needed for further study or employment. This course is engaging with pupils using software such as audio, video, animation graphical editing and website development to create interactive media products.

Unit 1

Investigate interactive media production: 30 hours

Unit 2

Plan and prepare for an interactive media product: 30 hours

Unit 3

Development and production of an interactive media product: 30 hours

Unit 4

Present and promote an interactive media product: 30 hours

Portfolio of evidence covering all learning outcomes: 120 hours

Invigilated practical exam assessing application of knowledge and skills: 15 hours
