Over the weekend, Year 9’s Brooke Coldwell took part in the County Athletics Championships in Exeter.

She began her successful day by winning both heats for 200m and 300m which meant she qualified for both finals.  She then ran 800m and came second with a close PB of 2 minutes, 26 seconds!

Boosted by her great personal achievement in the 800m, Brooke then ran in the 200m final and won silver as well as winning gold in the 300m final!

With a final medal tally of two silvers and one gold medal, we are all extremely proud of her.  Mrs. Dinnie, Brooke’s PE teacher said, “She is such a lovely student, works so hard in PE and captains the U14 netball squad too!”

What a fantastic achievement Brooke!
