Remembrance Sunday 2024
Three senior students, Kiyah, Sophia and Joe, admirably represented the Academy, alongside a whole host of public services personnel, armed forces and local groups by laying a wreath on behalf of Paignton Academy.
The annual remembrance ceremony is held at the war memorial in Palace Avenue to commemorate all those injured and who have lost their lives to protect others during conflicts. There were a whole host of Academy students in attendance representing a number of groups, including the scouts, air cadets, sea cadets and army cadets.
Mr Harle and Mr Williams are proudly pictured with our four cadet students. Connor is in Year 11, and Anton is in Year 9, both from our Borough Road site. Kai and Ryan are both in Year 10 at our Waterleat site.
