At 5.30am Saturday morning 95 Year 11 students and 10 staff boarded two coaches at Borough Road to head off to Thorpe Park for their Fright Night. We arrived at 10am and after collecting our tickets we headed into the park. All of a sudden 95 students disappeared and were only seen again at the check in times and 12 hours later when it was time to come home. Students experienced the thrills and spills of the rollercoasters such as Swarm, Nemesis Inferno and Saw as well as the scares of the special Fright Night Walking Dead mazes and the Derren Brown Ghost Train.
It was a brilliant day allowing all the students to let off some steam before the up and coming PPE exams. Returning to Borough Road at 2.45am Sunday morning made it a very long and tiring day but very enjoyable for all that took part.
