Interact Members Organise Charity Disco

PCSA’s Interact Club organised and ran a disco in aid of Rowcroft Hospice. Interact is a group of KS3 students who meet to discuss ways of organising charity and other events for the Academy.  The group work closely with members of Paignton Rotary Club and Miss Julian and Mr Cook.
This event was aimed at Year 7 students and there was a great turnout of over 60 on the night. As well as the ticket entry, Interact members organised a well stocked tuck shop which also went towards the fund raising. The DJ ran the disco for free so all monies raised could go to charity. There were also some fun games such as Musical Statues and prizes for best dressed and best dancer. The Year 7 students had a great evening and the Interact club worked tirelessly to pull off such a successful event.
A total of £189 was raised for Rowcroft Hospice.
