The Academy is celebrating some excellent outcomes for our 2016 pupils. The Progress 8 score for 2016 is 0.05 (DfE table checking unvalidated data with amendments – Sept 16). The Value Added score for all pupils, high pupils and our disadvantaged pupils are above the National Average of 1000. There are significant improvements with our high pupils, including high disadvantaged pupils. 15 subjects exceeded their A*/A targets with 7 of those subjects performing above the provisional 2016 national averages, despite weaker cohort (-1.4 below the National Average) on entry. Our disadvantaged pupils have achieved above the 2015 National Average in the majority of measures, and the difference between our disadvantaged pupils and other pupils nationally is reducing.
